| PROGRESSIVE SPORTS MANAGEMENT, INC., was founded in 1987 by current President, Thomas P. McCarthy. McCarthy founded PSM with the premise that he wanted to help Olympic (amateur) and porfessional athletes be successful onand off the field. This premise was, and still is based upon PSM's desire is to make a difference in the lives of its clients and help secure their financial futures.
Long before representation of female athletes was in vogue, McCarthy specialized in helping female athletes knock down the barriers in and out of their respective sports. Volleyball was the first sport that McCarthy saw as a clean and marketable one twelve years ago when many of the industry experts said it had no potential. |
