Community/Charity Commitment

Jessica continues to work and make a difference with the East Palo Alto based, 49er Academy. A Bay Area organization, the 49er Academy is designed to help and mentor minority children on the importance of reading and writing. Having been an active volunteer during her four years at Stanford, Jessica feels a strong sense of responsibility to help others not as fortunate as she.

Seeing the importance of giving back, Jessica is also an active blood donor at her local Red Cross.

Speaking Engagements

Jessica fully understands the difference she can and does make in the lives of the children across the USA. She speaks at high schools and local organizations/associations in an effort to get the message out that there are great athletes who do want to serve as excellent role models.
